This popular‚ hands-on course introduces the basics of sailing and water safety. Students learn and practice tacking‚ jibing‚ docking and sail theory. Rules of the road‚ capsize drills and crew overboard skills are also covered. This course is taught with instructors on the boats.

This section is a full-day option that combines traditional lessons with adventure! Join us before or after a sailing lesson to explore new types of boats and the science behind sailing‚ play games on and off the water‚ and sail with friends. Along with your crew‚ make (guided) decisions about the daily plan and work together to complete goals. This course has a balance of relaxing cruising and friendly completion and challenges.


**Students must have a certified swim-check of 75 yards on file before being able to participate
