The program will start promptly at 12:05 p.m. and end at 12:50 p.m. so that Downtown employees can join us for their lunch hour. Speakers will stay for questions afterwards as able.

Lunches will be available at 11:45 pm.

$20 per person with lunch or $10 for lecture only. (You are welcome to BYOL)

January 17th - Lunch on the Lake:
Peter Hirthe‚ Sr Trade Development Representative for Port Milwaukee‚ speaks on the waterway connectivity of the Port‚ the products transported‚ and the vessel carriers that utilize it within the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System both internationally and domestically.

February 21st - Lunch on the Lake:
Jeff Veglahn‚ Land Steward at Urban Ecology Center‚ will discuss the work being done in Three Bridges Park‚ a new 24-acre native plant community restoration site located in the Menomonee Valley. Jeff will talk about the history of land‚ the partnerships involved‚ Urban Ecology Center’s role in managing Three Bridges Park‚ and take away action steps that will help you improve our environment.

March 21st - Lunch on the Lake:
All Hands Boatworks (AHB) is celebrating its five-year anniversary of building wooden boats and great kids throughout Milwaukee. Please join us for an engaging and informative presentation to learn how AHB is building our youth through a wide variety of in-school‚ after-school‚ and summer hands-on programs. As part of the presentation‚ AHB will lead a small woodworking project.

April 18th – Lunch on the Lake:
Bob Wincek‚ President of Great Lakes Sport Fisherman of Milwaukee‚ will help us learn more about the impact of the GLSF on Lake Michigan‚ including their work to manage fish populations in our area.
