Experience downtown Milwaukee from the vantage point of a canoe. Join the Urban Ecology Center for an afternoon on the Milwaukee River.

Participants will learn basic canoeing safety and paddling instruction‚ and learn the interesting influence the river has had on Milwaukee History and its ecological importance.

Please meet at the Rowing Club Boathouse at 190 E Commerce St. Dress for being active outdoors. Hats‚ sunscreen‚ and sunglasses are recommended. Participants ages 4-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

$40 for UEC members and $50 for non-members‚ $10 for kids 10 and under‚ FREE for kids not paddling.
