Art Exhibition and Presentation
The photos in Margaret LeJeune’s "The Female Mariners Project" celebrate strong‚ knowledgeable‚ and brave women who share a passion for the water--shipwrights‚ captains‚ sailmakers‚ racers‚ liveaboards‚ and tour boat operators.
A selection of LeJeune’s work will be on display at the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center on May 3‚ and at 10 a.m. Margaret LeJeune will be speaking about her work‚ with an Artist Talk and a Q&A session. Her talk will include additional images on slides and she will share the personal stories of many of the women pictured.
The cost includes a light breakfast.
