10.1b Fundamental Sailing (Weekend Intensive)
MCSC’s Weekend Intensive is a fast-paced version of our Fundamental Sailing course‚ designed for people with busier schedules. Due to the accelerated pace of these classes‚ some prior sailing experience is recommended but not required. Classes sizes are smaller‚ so personal attention is maximized. All of the basics are covered. Learn to sail in just one evening and two days!
While not guaranteed‚ most students will graduate from a WEI with a Rating‚ enabling unlimited access to open sailing aboard our fleet of Ensign keelboats. If as Rating is not issued‚ students will have ample resources and connections to earn a rating via time on the water with other members.
*For 2024‚ Weekend Intensive courses are expanded to include an extra hour of sailing on Saturday and Sunday evening.
Students who wish to take this course must be members of MCSC in order to register for classes.
