Designed for sailors with a Medium Air Rating and a Tunables Endorsement who are actively practicing their skills and aspire to race or race more‚ this class merges spinnaker handling and skills with sailboat racing. Students will apply and practice their downwind sailing skills in the context of boat performance‚ racing rules‚ course geometry‚ crew coordination and teamwork.

This class will meet once a week for four weeks.

All sailing will be done aboard OD Ensigns‚ Soling and J-24s.

Prerequisites: 10.1‚ 10.2‚ 30.1 and a Medium Air Rating and an Tunables Endorsement or equivalent and a pre-assessment.

Proficiency of skills at this level is required to become a Race Team Leader (RTL) for Soling or J-24 racing.
