50.3 Performance Centerboard Sailing
Designed for sailors with centerboard experience who want more‚ this course merges advanced sailing skills like spinnakers and trapezing to build finesse‚ fitness and instincts aboard the two-person International 420.
Prerequisites: 10.1‚ 10.2‚ 50.1. A Medium Air Rating and a Centerboard Endorsement or equivalent.
Students should expect to swim! No cotton clothing should be worn. Instead‚ students should dress in layers of synthetic materials (even under garments) and if a wet suit (4mm or less) and boots is owned‚ it should be worn.
Proficiency in skills at this level is required for a new MCSC Medium Air Rating/420 Endorsement.
