Cruising the Apostles (with friends + trailerable)
Abby Procton and her good friend Kevin Depies hauled Abby’s boat Plan B - a Starwind 19 - to Bayfield County last July to cruise around the Apostle Islands. Sailing alongside buddy boat‚ Intrepid - an S2 6.9 - crewed by Zach Nordgren and family‚ they enjoyed 5 days in the wilderness of Lake Superior.
Abby‚ Kevin‚ and Zach will share stories and lessons learned from their trip. This program will be interesting for anyone thinking about cruising their small sailboat or thinking about buying one‚ and it will be entertaining for anyone that knows this trio‚ who share their mutual love of sailing widely and joyously.
Refreshments: light snacks‚ beer‚ wine‚ waters‚ and soft drinks served.
