About your instructors: MCSC’s “homegrown” sailors Bob Heil and Terri Schmidt met while racing in MKE and have been Great Lakes chartering ever since. Each experience has brought its challenges‚ but this duo hasn’t let events like overnight anchor drags in the North Channel‚ sharing a narrow channel with the Emerald Isle Ferry in Charlevoix‚ or the doldrums dampen their enthusiasm! Each day ends with rum drinks under a million stars‚ and anticipation of what the next day of chartering will bring!
