Discovery World and the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center (MCSC) have partnered to explore the world of sailing‚ including water safety‚ sail rigging and theory‚ basic maneuvers‚ and more. Campers will spend half the day sailing the waters of Lake Michigan and the other half exploring the science behind this pastime.

The sailing component of Learn to Sail Camps is taught by MCSC Instructors. Students learn to sail and make new friends aboard fun and colorful "Prams" - small centerboard sailboats that are simple to rig‚ fun to sail‚ and do most everything a bigger boat can do.

For ages 8-11.
Students will need to pass a 25-yard swim check before beginning camp.

There are three sessions to choose from:

- July 22 to 26‚ 2024
- August 5 - 9‚ 2024
- August 12 - 16‚ 2024
