Milwaukee sailor Matt Koblenzer has been active on the Milwaukee Bay for decades‚ sailing competitively and leisurely with his wife and family‚ and serving as a mentor and teacher to many. But when faced with challenges that would limit him physically‚ Matt shifted gear to become a solo sailor aboard a 2.4 meter keelboat. From the class website: "The 2.4 meter is 13 feet 8 inches long" and "designed for competitive sailing." ... "Because these boats do not require excessive strength‚ and hiking is not required (nor permitted)‚ a very broad spectrum of sailors sail competitively. In fact‚ all sailors sail competitively."

Today‚ Matt and his wife‚ Jodi‚ travel internationally to campaign Matt’s boat. In this presentation‚ Matt will recount his journey to the 2.4 and what it means to him today.
