In 2024‚ MCSC’s Program Theme will be Self-Reliance.

Every adult course from Entry to Advanced levels will include lessons on skills used when things don’t go as expected. This seminar asks the question‚ "How are you going to get home?" And it covers important sailing themes and skills‚ like situational awareness‚ risk assessment‚ stress management‚ check-listing‚ and problem-solving.

This program will be offered in "talk-show" style with a host‚ individual presentations‚ Q&As and time for milling about with the expert presenters‚ including MCSC Instructors Kristin Pratt‚ Jo McGlew‚ Guy Campbell and Mike Winnemuller.
