Marine VHF radios are used to communicate with MCSC‚ other boats‚ the Coast Guard‚ bridge operators‚ and marinas. In this hands-on seminar‚ Jeff Bird teaches basic VHF operation and protocol. What channels should be used? What procedures make for good radio communications?
Bring your own VHF radio if you have one. This class is recommended for all Rated or prospective Heavy Air Sailors‚ Race Team Leaders and anyone looking to get more from their VHF.
