The J/24 is used in Advance Sailing Classes, Wednesday Night Racing, the Enrichment Program and Open Sailing at the Sailing Center. The J/24 is one of the most popular one-design boats in the world because of its combination use as a racer/cruiser. The J/24 is challenging to sail because of its variety of technical adjustments necessary to sail the boat fast and controlled. The J/24 can be sailed by as few as two but is typically raced with five crew persons.
