Small Cruiser Training (Voulez-Vous)
This course aboard Voulez-Vous – our Catalina 27 – covers the basics of handling a small cruising sailboat. Topics include boat handling‚ auxiliary power and anchoring. This course includes a Small Cruiser evaluation‚ weather and conditions permitting‚ leading to an Endorsement‚ barring unforeseen complications. With an Endorsement‚ members may sail Voulez-Vous during Open Sail‚ in conditions appropriate to their Rating and by reservation.
This is a three-day course (T-TH) with Friday reserved for a make-up day.
Heavy Air Rating required or experienced Medium Rated Skippers‚ rated for at least one year‚ may receive instructor consent to take the course.
